New updates designed to add efficiency, enhance the customer experience, and streamline your operations.

At FieldRoutes, our goal is to equip the pest control industry with innovative software that simplifies your business and operations, boosts productivity across teams, and elevates the overall experience for your customers.

Our latest release includes powerful enhancements that have been built to directly address the dynamic challenges our customers face every day, from making a strong first impression with prospective customers to managing billing and payments more effectively. FieldRoutes continues to find new ways to help businesses run smoothly and thrive.

Accelerating Your Mobile Sales Workflows

First impressions matter, especially in door-to-door sales. A quick and smooth sales motion can be the difference between closing a deal or losing an opportunity. That’s why we’ve focused on adding more flexibility to the sales user experience.

Your sales reps can now enter important information or perform key actions more dynamically - navigating to different areas in the app as they speak so that everything flows together with the sale. For example, users can upload photos of problem areas for technicians to reference later while pitching the customer on your services and securing the sale. This flexibility helps sales users focus more on engaging with someone personally and lets them jump directly into different tasks (like presenting a personalized agreement) in no time, and without breaking stride.

Once a new customer is closed, the process continues just as fluidly - your reps can schedule service right away and even add photos of the property and/or pest activity without leaving the app or having to pause the conversation. This integrated flow, which fully supports bundled products and service packages, significantly cuts the time and effort it takes to get a new customer set and onboarded, allowing your team to focus on selling and providing excellent service.

Simplifying Field Sales with New Map Features

For sales reps in the field, completing their tasks efficiently means having access to the exact information they need at a moment’s notice - and with full clarity. The new improvements to sales pins and to the map itself in the FieldRoutes Mobile App now provide important visual information at a quick glance so reps can keep track of their progress, identify selling opportunities, and deliver more tailored pitches. The map also helps managers follow their activity more closely - so they can apply coaching and congratulations to their team members as needed.

This updated system (stars for customers and pins for knocked houses) makes for an intuitive system and more targeted outreach. When a rep selects a pin, they now have access to more information, like cancellation reasons or all existing subscriptions, enabling them to have more informed and successful conversations.

Added Billing Controls and Flexibility

Managing payments and customer accounts effectively is critical for maintaining healthy cash flow. Our final two updates provide greater control and support while taking weight off the shoulders of your team.

The Payment Method on File Requirement addresses a common challenge for pest control companies: ensuring a valid payment method is always attached to a customer account. Now, once autopay is enabled, customers cannot delete their payment method without first adding another, or disabling autopay altogether. This prevents situations where services are unknowingly rendered without a way to charge the customer: protecting your revenue, saving your team time, and enforcing contract terms more effectively.

Lastly, we’ve added New Hard and Soft Decline Logic for Payments. You now have the flexibility to set your own threshold for “soft declines” when a charge is unsuccessful, allowing more attempts before a card is hard-declined. This reduces unnecessary disruptions to your operations and helps you recover more payments. Preventing hard declines from happening too early can help save your team from having to inconvenience customers and also helps to protect your bottom line.

These updates are the latest in our continuing commitment to empower pest control companies like yours to operate more efficiently, deliver outstanding service, and achieve their goals.
